NVIDIA is seeking a skilled Build and Release Engineer to join their Compiler Team, which develops and maintains build infrastructure and delivers compiler-related tools, libraries, and executables for NVIDIA GPUs. The role supports a wide range of computational workloads, including AI, scientific computing, autonomous driving, and gaming. You will collaborate with top engineers to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enhance build reliability, and optimize system performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve build system efficiency and reliability.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot build and system performance.
  • Implement containerization/orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues to maintain stability and performance.

Key Technical Skills:

CI/CD pipelines, GNU Make, CMake, Bazel, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins (Groovy), GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, Ansible, Perforce, Git, Python, Bash, Build Optimization, Compiler Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, LLVM build (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in software development or DevOps roles.
  • Experience with major build tools (GNU Make, CMake, Bazel).
  • Strong knowledge of containerization/orchestration tools and CI/CD systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce, Git).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
  • Problem-solving mindset with root cause analysis skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior LLVM build experience.
